The Cria Creative, LLC ("Cria Creative," "we," "us," or "our") is a Black woman-owned research and equitable evaluation firm. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and in the course of our evaluation work, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

A. Website Visitors When you visit www.criacreative.com or submit our contact form, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address, subject line, and message content

  • Basic technical data collected automatically by our website platform (such as browser type, device type, and general usage patterns via cookies or similar tools)

B. Clients and Program Participants In the course of our evaluation and research engagements, we may collect data provided by clients, partner organizations, and program participants, which can include:

  • Program records, survey responses, interview and focus group data, and outcome or performance data

  • Demographic information relevant to equity-focused evaluation (e.g., race, ethnicity, language, disability status) when voluntarily shared or provided by a partner organization for evaluation purposes

  • Data involving minors: Because our work regularly includes evaluations of school- and youth-serving programs, the data we handle may include information about minors. We do not collect this data directly from children through our website. Data about minors reaches us through partner organizations, schools, or program administrators who are responsible for obtaining any necessary parental or guardian consent before sharing it with us, consistent with their own policies and applicable law (including FERPA, where relevant to school records).

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries submitted through our website

  • Design, conduct, and report on program and impact evaluations

  • Analyze data to identify inequities and recommend program improvements

  • Maintain accurate records for our clients and partner organizations

  • Improve our website and services

We do not use client or program participant data for marketing purposes, and we do not sell personal information.

3. How We Share Information

We do not share personal or program data except:

  • With the client or partner organization that engaged us, as part of agreed-upon reporting

  • With subcontractors or team members bound by confidentiality obligations, where necessary to complete a project

  • When required by law, subpoena, or legal process

  • With your explicit consent

Any data-sharing arrangement involving minors' data follows the terms set by the partner organization or school that provided it, including any restrictions they require.

4. Data Retention

We retain program and evaluation data only as long as necessary to complete our contracted work and to meet any retention requirements specified in our client agreements or applicable law. When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or returned to the client/partner organization, per our agreement with them.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect.

  • Request correction or deletion of your information

  • Withdraw consent for participation in evaluation activities, where applicable, without penalty

To make a request, contact us using the information below. If you are a program participant whose data was provided to us by a school or partner organization, we may direct your request to that organization if they are the primary data holder.
